 Copyright in a work (film) resides with the author or creator. It is a right of ownership which can be transferred or licensed to another, 
If you want to use someone else's footage in your film, you'll need to obtain permission from the company that presently owns the film or video clip.

A method of compiling films partly or entirely of footage that was shot  It can also mean footage that has been 'found' e.g. home videos or old footage found in bins, charity shops etc.

Royalty-free :It is  used to describe media (such as graphics, photos, music etc.) that is bought for a one-off fee allowing it to be used for profit, without payment of royalties 

One of the actor  in my short-film is watching television. Is it okay to use real footage on the screen.

you are allowed private research in Muisc and sounds. You can producer back-up in you music. 

You can't  dircitly someone  work . You can't  adapoted someone work. You need get permission  to work on the music or sound track.

You after agree to a licsence  and comfim  the writter ,artist and the producer of the creater of the  sources.You  can used images  from the 1945  and before can use it . The create  can give pre-mission  and make sure to check sources of images .


 I have learn so much about copyright, as like  about the music i  used from google to put in my last unit (advertising) and  i learn what i can put in the short film , i am making with the group and for my other unit i will be doing  in merssia class.
