What type of research did you do?

It was primary research,because it was survey and it was from my own research.

I have gather market research  ,because some  question ask about age & gender in the survey.

Who was your target audience?, Why?

My Target audience is aimed at students ,because we are all making a short film and it helped each other out .

How could this information help improve your short film?

It gave me more idea for my short flim and who i should aimed for my short flim.It help me what kind of people i be working with and how i can handle them.

CBeebies & grand design

cbeebies :

It is aimed at younger viewers around about 0-7 years olds.They have some religon in some shows ,but not all shows.It is for both genders (female & male) ,I don't think sexuality will be in it,as it is aimed at young viewers.Mostly it is reading , education ,and life lessons .The money probley be made by viewers rating.

I used to watch cbeebies when I was a kid, I enjoyed watching them ,but I don't think I would watch it now ,because I'm into  horror stuff and more mature stuff now.

Grand design:

It is aimed at more adult viewers  and can be for  teenagers as well,because it  educates teenagers and some adults  in the program  . I think the age range is aimed at  50 + or retired people who stay at home and watch tv .I would say it was more aimed at males , but it could be for female as well .it was about a novel ,so it was aimed at people who had read Lord of the Rings or had watched the films of Lord of the Rings.I think it is for  upper class viewers.

Proposal

Name: The Horror Tutor.

·         Story

There is a cannibal who lives a normal life in the day, but in the night he goes around killing people and eating them. He keeps them in his basement then he can eat them for breakfast. In the end of the film it shows you the cannibal eating his breakfast, but it looks like a normal cereal. The cannibal is a college tutor, but at the end of the day he follows one of his students and then murders the student and then eats them and leaves some parts in his basement. Then you see a  flash back of what he has eaten in the day after you've been tricked by just looking and not  realising  that he was eating human flesh  .The cannibal has a power that makes him  kill his prey. .

What kind of power does he have?

The cannibal has a power called dark flames, it doesn’t burn you from the outside, but burns you from the inside and kills you in 3 sec.

 I would need 2 actors: 1 cannibal, 1 students, I say we should swap the camera around so we get a chance to use the camera. I would use a closed & opening because the first part is open because you will be asking questions. In the second part there will be no questions as you found who he/she his.

I say it would be up to the audiences if it is anti-realist or realist, because it also about belief in cannibals and magic powers.

·         Content

In the night I would use more than one effect. I would be using the black and white effect to make it creepier and to make more evil like. The daytime will be normal light... I will do split scene at the end to show what he was eating for breakfast at the beginning to show what happen. I would use cross cutting technique where the teacher is walking up to college behind the student (far distances) and then when they reach college the teacher makes the student jump. I would use it when the teacher kills the student as well, because make it more outstanding for my short film. Multi –strand

·         Soundtrack

I would use song called monster by Eminem ft. Rihanna, because it suits  my idea because ,he/she  is monster by night and day night normal civilian , so I am planning to put  normal noises into it .

·         Who is your audience?

My audience is aimed at teenagers to young adulst, because I want it to aim for my age more, because I can relate it around that age and not to make for younger viewers, as it won’t fit my ideas.

The genre is horror, comedy, action, fantasy & supernatural .

This inspired me by a YouTube I have watched a couple years ago and it  made me cringe ,but it was true story .

I through it was sick to watch,but it did inspire me about who I can trust & and not to trust in a relationship.It  moved on to quick with every shot,like when we did the advert.
